YACSEE's Journey
Our Journey
YACSEE was born out of a passion for empowering youth in agriculture, rooted in experiences from the 2021-2022 academic year. During this time, our founder served as Project Coordinator for the International Association of Students in Agriculture and Related Sciences (IAAS), working closely with the Internship and Outreach Coordinator to secure internships for students across Ghana. These efforts revealed a strong desire among young individuals to pursue careers in agriculture, provided they had access to the right opportunities.
Inspired to broaden these possibilities, YACSEE began exploring avenues for both local and international placements, leading to a partnership with Bixter—a collaboration driven by a shared commitment to supporting youth in agriculture and fostering sustainable development. This journey continues as we strive to bridge the gap between opportunity and innovation for the next generation of agricultural leaders.
